Drilling Technology Series

The Drilling Technology Series collects a wealth of material about all phases of drilling into three manuals. Although primarily designed for industry personnel or college students studying petroleum technology, it is useful for anyone who wants or needs to know more about rotary drilling.

The Drilling Technology Series consists of three manuals and is based on material in the Rotary Drilling Series of books. However, the content in these books is both more condensed and more technical than in the drilling series. This series responds to the need for more detailed explanation of drilling procedures and the math used in connection with them.

The three manuals included in the Drilling Technology Series are:

• Segment I: Introduction to Rotary Drilling, 2nd ed.
• Segment II: Routine Drilling Operations, 2nd ed.
• Segment III: Special Drilling Operations, 2nd ed.

Earn Certificates! These self-study packages includes a copy of each book (in print or e-book) that are each accompanied with a 250-question online assessment. Successful completion earns a Completion Certificate for each certificate program from The University of Texas at Austin–PETEX and 9.0 total CEUs (3.0 CEUs per assessment).
